The organisation was established to help make a difference in dealing with the global asbestos problem by providing a service to anyone needing help and assistance in a range of asbestos related services.

It was founded in 2009 by Chris Bishop who has a wide experience of asbestos removal industry.

 

Starting out as Quality & Compliance Manager for a leading asbestos consultancy, Chris then spent a period at ARCA as training Manager developing courses and ensuring training was delivered to the highest standards. Latterly, Chris worked for the recognised leading UK asbestos remediation company where he developed an internal training and assessment programme for Licensed Asbestos personnel, and delivered external training to a wide range of clients.

 

AC&T has a wealth of expertise in a framework of asbestos professionals based around the UK who have proven success in delivering full and comprehensive solutions to a wide range of clients and sectors throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.

 

Our philosophy is simple; offer the service and support the client needs, when and where it is needed, at a cost effective rate. We are not a multi-disciplined generalist – we are an independent specialist who recognises that the best way of working is by working as a partnership to achieve shared values.

• Asbestos surveys, both Management and Demolition / Refurbishment surveys in accordance with the latest HSE guidance (HSG 264);
• Helping to develop and implement Asbestos Management Plans including the scope of removal operations in accordance with the “Duty to Manage” section of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006;
• Providing the highest standards of training in areas of Asbestos Management, Non-licensed asbestos works and Asbestos Awareness to you, your staff or persons who may be affected. AC&T is UKATA registered to both Category 2 (Non-Licensed) and Category 3 (Awareness) training;
• Helping in the procurement and selection of Licensed Removal Contractors to ensure you get the best service at a cost effective rate;
• Project management services to ensure that all works are undertaken in a manner that is safe, minimises impact on you, your staff, your neighbours or the environment;
• Independent site-based audits of all aspects of asbestos works including analytical, surveying and remediation.
